智能软件工程研究中心隶属国家示范性软件学院，现有教师6人，其中，博士生导师1人、教授1人、副教授2人，讲师2人。研究中心主要研究方向包括：缺陷报告分派与推荐、软件错误定位与修复、软件缺陷检测与安全漏洞挖掘、软件工程大数据分析与决策、物联网系统技术、无人机航迹规划、图像处理与模式识别、虚拟现实技术等。近年来，已完成科研项目30余项，包括国家“十三五”国家重点研发计划、国家自然科学基金、国家863计划、国防基础科研、国家“十五”重点攻关项目等；获得国家科技进步奖1项，省部级科技进步奖3项，软件著作权登记11项，申请国家发明专利5项，出版教材9部；在国内外学术刊物和会议上发表论文200余篇，其中，被SCI/EI检索100余篇。
标志性成果：智能软件工程平台
将人工智能赋能软件工程，以高效地构建高质量软件为目标，研究软件缺陷检测及预测、错误定位、软件修正、克隆代码检测及维护等技术。
分布式增量式索引的大规模本地代码搜索引擎，使之有效支持相似漏洞挖掘。既支持关键字也支持代码片段搜索，并且分析源代码的语法信息，支持多种模糊度语义级别的查询，，从而可以提高搜索的精度。增量式的多版本软件演化分析，具有良好的可扩展性，可快速分析大规模代码。该工具被应用于大规模企业级代码漏洞挖掘和安全检测，捍卫软件安全。
标志性成果：通用嵌入式软件虚拟验证系统平台
项目成果是能够对嵌入式硬件系统进行完整模拟的软件系统。用户可以在该系统上模拟运行嵌入式软件，无需相应的硬件即可对嵌入式软件进行测试与调试。
成果广泛应用于航空、航天、武器装备、机器人、工业控制等嵌入式系统开发领域，助力智能嵌入式软件研发与测试，提升行业劳动生产效率、降低成本、增强产品的竞争能力。
基于成果核心技术，已经与航天科技集团、航天科工集团、中国兵器集团、中物院等多家研究院所建立深度合作关系，并且与ARM（中国）等国际知名企业建立技术融合、产品增值的强强联合伙伴关系，共同运营基础软件生态。
Research Center of Intelligent Software Engineering
In this research center, there are 6 teachers, including 1 doctoral supervisor, 1 professor, 2 associate professors and 2 lectures. The research fields mainly include automatic bug triage techniques, automated software fault localization and repair, software bug detection and vulnerability mining, big data analysis and decision making in software engineering, Internet of things system technology, UAV trajectory planning, image processing and pattern recognition, virtual reality technology etc. More than 30 research projects have been completed, such as the 13th Five-Year National Science and Technology Major Project of China, projects supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, National Hi-tech 863 projects, projects supported by the National Defense Pre-Research Foundation of China, projects supported by the fund from the 10th five-year plan administered by the Ministry of Science and Technology of China. The staff of this center have been awarded 1 National Prize for Science and Technology Progress Award, 3 Prizes for Science and Heilongjiang Province Technology Progress Award, 11 software copyrights, 5 items of national invention patent, and they have published 9 textbooks. More than 200 papers written by them have been published in the national and international journals or proceedings. More than 100 of these papers have been indexed by SCI/EI.
